Best way to view Oresund Bridge
We will be in Copenhagen early September and seek opinions on the best way to view the Orasund Bridge. Sites we have explored indicate that the bridge is not easily viewed by travelling over the bridge by train. Would really appreciate your advice. Thank you. |

https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fod...b74d09a148.jpg This was the view from the train going over the bridge so basically saw nothing. The best view I've had is driving over it, there might be boat or cycling tours across it. But it would be expensive to drive over, not to mention cost of picking up a rental car in DK and dropping it off in Sweden or Norway. |
On another thread, I read that someone took bus 999 from Copenhagen to Malmö. This might be a good option for you. Website is in Danish but you can translate it in google.
Buss 999 er den direkte og billige busrute fra Kgs. Nytorv til Malmø |
Do you just want to view it or are you also crossing it? Apparently you get a good view of it from Kastrup Strandpark or Amager Strand, both near the airport in Copenhagen. I haven't been but this was advice given on a photo site.

Thanks VonVan. Would I need to show my passport if I took that bus? |
Am crossing it by train on my way to Oslo but I understand that you do not get to really see the bridge from the train. Thanks for you help.

Thanks Odin. |
Aussie, the hotel desk clerk said we probably wouldn’t need to show passports but to have them, just in case. There was no immigration check but we were taking no chances! You pay the driver as you board and this was the only time in Copenhagen that it had to be cash. |
Thanks VonVan. |
