Best way to travel from the Amalfi coast to Naxos? AC accom suggestions?
Hi everyone, just looking for some advice on how to get from the Amalfi coast to Naxos in Greece and any suggestions for AC accommodation. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
My wife and I will be staying in the AC area for four nights (22 July - 26 July) as part of our honeymoon. Ravello and Sorrento are places we like the look of, although everywhere looks great so we are open to suggestions. We like the idea of an apartment or B&B and looking in the 100euro per night price range
We will be leaving for Naxos on the 26th of July. We had thought we would make our way to Naples, fly to Athens and then catch a connecting flight on to Naxos, but that seems to be quite an expensive way to get there (more than 1000euro).
Any suggestions would be great!

That is likely not going to be an easy connection. Other than the Naples to Athens to Naxos flights you may look at Rome to Athens to Naxos. Or instead of flying Athens to Naxos taking the ferry.
Not sure there are other options!

You should consider flying Rome to Mykonos which is near to Naxos and there are frequent ferries.
There are both direct and one stop flights. Those direct are very cheap but leave very early so would involve spending the night near the airport.

Rome to Mykonos or Rome to Santorini then ferry might be alternatives, but on a honeymoon I would no way waste a full day in transit. Well, maybe if I was traveling for two months, but spending 4 days on AC indicates you have less than that!
