Best Way to Travel, Bordeaux to Milan
 

I'm planning a trip from Bordeaux to Milan. Would like to do it by train, but the best routing I can find takes me back to Paris. For all you train experts out there, please tell me if this is the case? What would 1st class cost me? Would overnight from Paris to Milan be better? <BR>Or, would it be better to fly? <BR>Thanks in advance for your help.
