Best way to travel
I will be in Brussels in November and will be traveling to Copenhagen. What is the best(easiest & cost effective)way to get to Copenhagen? Air? Train? I will be in Brussels and Netherlands most of of the time so, how do I find out the routes the trains run? Is the a train map somewhere I can get? Should I buy individual tickets to get around? As you can see I need help....Thanks for all your help.

Train is probably your best bet. Here's all the European schedules:

Awesome. Thank you!

Well, no, actually...
The website www.whichbudget.com is the first place I would check to answer a question like this, and it shows that you have TWO low cost airlines from which to choose: Maersk Air and Virgin Express. As for a train map, you can get a limited one at http://downloads.raileurope.com/map_...pe/europe.html - - for more detailed train travel planning, you will want to consider purchasing a Thomas Cook timetable - - http://www.railpass.com/eurail/cooks.htm Best wishes, Rex |
I was going to suggest air. Its approximatly an 8 hour train ride from Brussels to to Copenhagen....
Airfare is quite good from Brussels to Copenhagen. I was going to suggest Virgin Express also. Have always had great luck with them. SAS also has great airfare most of the time between these cities. The flight is only an hour. Last time I flew from Brussels to Copenhagen the cost was about 120 roundtrip. |
Fastest train route between these two cities would be through Amsterdam..figure at least 9 hours; through Cologne figure 10 hours minimum (with changes).
I suggest you look into cheap airfares. |
