Best way to see Sorento, Rome, Florence and Venice
 

What is the best (most fun) way to visit these cities in a 10-day time frame. Could fly into Rome.

Most fun? Hmmm - that's easy:

Sorrento - helicopter
Venice - canoe
Rome and Florence - hot air balloon

Cool! That would have to be the most fun way for all four destinations. I'd try at an altitude of 8 feet and 200 feet both, for totally different perspectives.

Now for the serious responses.
Trying to cover those four destinations in 10 days won't be fun! And, if those 10 days include your travel days, it's the opposite of fun.
Cut it down to three at most, which is pretty much the "standard" minimum with tour companies

For ten days I suggest

Rome and Sorrento (or other town on the AC)

Rome 5 days, Naples 2 days, AC 3 days.

Rome and Florence

Florence and Venice (my choice)
