Best way to go from London to Rome?

What would you suggest for London to Rome doing this as cheaply and as quickly as possible?
I would be very grateful for any help/ideas?
Trip is this June, 2 adults only-early 30's.
Thanks so much!
Shadow

Fly. You'll find that the budget airlines are much cheaper the earlier you book, whereas the standard airlines (BA and the like) get cheaper the later you book.

Kate: do you really BELIEVE that non-budget airlines "get cheaper the later you book"???? Oh, if that were only true!

Shadow - RyanAir is currently cheapest - £33.92 if you book today.

Easyjet £42.99

Ethiopian Airlines flys London to Rome. We had passengers join our flight in Rome on our way back from Addis.

Hey Shadow!

Great to see you on the boards again! How are things in Ridgecrest?

We've got several feet of new snow in the Wasatch and the skiing is great!

Ciao!

Dayle: is it the Olympics you remember me from?
Things are OK in Ridgecrest-sunny, but cool and windy today-hate that wind!
I'm headed to Ireland in late April and maybe again in September to see my mom...how about you?

Hi Shadow,

Yes, of course! We sure had fun!

I'm heading to Italy again in September. Rome, Amalfi Coast and Tuscany and Umbria.

I'll look forward to your Ireland trip report and will watch the Ireland board.

Take care!
