Best way to get to Orly for early flight?

In October I'll have a 7 o'clock Easyjet flight to Rome out of Orly Station in Paris. I was thinking of taking a cab from my hotel to the Denfert-Rochereau Metro station, then the first Orlybus of the day (5:35) to the airport, arriving a little before 6. Is that giving myself enough time to check in? An hour is enough time for a domestic flight in the US, but I'm curious if there's anything that would require more time at Orly. Thanks!

Given the moderate loads at Orly south, I think you're giving yourself ample time.

Is there a reason to switch from taxi to Orlybus? I don't think I've ever paid more than 25 euro for a taxi to or from Orly to the 5th. The taxi to Denfert-Rochereau will probably be half of that (depending on where you're coming from). For the difference, I'd personally just take the taxi all the way, instead of making the switch and waiting for the bus.

Taxi for me too, no point in f****ng about, to save such a little

Well, my hotel is only about 2km from Denfert-Rochereau, so I'm imagining a quick and cheap cab ride (am I imagining correctly?). The Orlybus is €6.

I dunno, I'm pretty cheap. :)
