I am in America and next april i' want to travel from Prague to Berlin by train. i've been looking for tickets online but i find different companies to buy them. I found one price in trailEurope $112 Economy and $172 in comfort.
I have 1 big suitcase and 1 hand bag, does somebody know if i'll have to pay extra money for my big suitcase?. Help please,
Any advice you can give me about all this subjects i will really appreciate .

Lucia,
Probably your best bet is to use the German Rail site;
http://www.bahn.com/i/view/USA/en/index.shtml
If you are booking travel within Germany, you can book 90 days in advance, but international travel is 60 days in advance. I did a quick look for the price in May and it was 29 Euro or about $45. Much cheaper than RailEurope. Use you credit card and print the ticket. I bought one from Berlin to Warsaw this summer and had no problems.
Make sure you book as soon as the 60 day window hits so you can take advantage of the saver tickets, they are what I quoted above and are much cheaper. The big suitcase will not cost extra, but if it is too big to fit on the overhead rack you will have to store it between cars.

agedude on the button those other fares look like they have a hefty agent fee of some sort included. The cheapest tickets are €29 and are valid on a specific train so make sure you're set on your itinerary before you book - it will cost €15 to change it otherwise. It's by Eurocity train and takes around 4hrs 45mins in total. Departing tomorrow, fares are more like €60 ie double the price.

If you see European fares in $ you are in the wrong place!
You should be seeing €!
You should book Prague to Berlin from €29 either at the German Railways site www.bahn.de/en or the Czech Railways site www.cd.cz/eshop
Booking opens 60 days ahead.
Luggage is irrelevant, as you can take whatever you like on European trains, as long as you can carry it yourself.
