Best Way from GDC to Apartment in Paris
We will be arriving to GDC in Paris on early morning of May 14th. We will be staying at an apartment rented from vacations in paris #125 - a one bedroom on Rue St. Honore - We will be staying for 2 week.
What would be the best way for my husband and I to get to the apartment - We will both have luggage - Suggestions... |
Hi den,
I think that you mean CDG (Charles de Gaulle Airport). A: Taxi about 55E B: Shuttle about 38E. See www.beeshuttle.com www.paris-blue-airport-shuttle.fr/index_en.php www.parishuttle.com ((I)) |
How much luggage? Too much to easily schlepp on and off RER and Metro trains?

If you don't have a lot of luggage and can walk about 10 minutes with it, you could take the Roissybus to Opera (rue Scribe) and walk from there. Costs about 9€ each way.

I used airport-connection.com . I had no problems with them and they offered a discount. Happy Travels!

IRA - you are right I did mean CDG. We will have 2 good size bags. I think a shuttle would be good , I have not used on in Paris before - Additionally we will be returning to the US on a fairly early flight 8:45 am so I would like to book the shuttle round-trip and get some saving there

Hi,
This is the private service that I always use. I have passed it on to others and you will find many, many have also enjoyed using it. http://www.shuttle-inter.com/ They will be outside security exit with your name on a sign, take yourluggage to nearby vehice and you will be off. No calls, no looking for a taxi. It could well be cheaper than a taxi as it is a fixed price..no meter running in heavy, slow traffic. Enjoy... Joan |
