Best Way from FLR to Florence?
 
It appears that the Florence Airport is about 50 miles from Florence. What are your suggestions for getting to Florence from the airport?

No way is FLR to downtown Florence 50 miles.
Took a cab a couple of times before and it was, if I recall correctly, under 30 Euros per.

the Florence Airport is about 5 miles from Florence (amerigo vespucci airport (FLR); bus 62 runs every 30 mins from it to Santa Maria Novella (main) train station in Florence. Re-check your info; another more major airport is at Pisa, Galileo Galillei (PSA), that's about 50 miles from Florence and has frequent rail service from it to Florence.
