If into walking at all hoof it thru the ancient historic Greenwich Foot Tunnel, built to help south Londoners get to work in the Docklands on the north side of the Thames - I always love trekking thru this old tunnel - on the other side is a DLR station and also as ASDA Superstore to stock up on picnic supplies or other goods at a cheap Wal-Mart price.

We took the Thames Clipper from Blackfriars to Greenwich and returned on the DLR and Tube. It was a nice combination.
