Saw a great idea at our local market on the weekend. It is a pliable heavy plastic-like material "vase" that folds flat. When you fill it with water is "spreads" and becomes a vase and you can put fresh flowers in it! Three sizes (approx. 3", 5" and 7" high) and very cheap too - about $6 (Canadian!!) for the large one!

I just got my Travelsmith.com cataloge and I want everything! From packable hats, convertable pants, luggage locks, personal air purifiers.. anyone who asks me what I want for Christmas, I tell 'em a giftcertificate from Travelsmith.
I also loves books, travel guides or novels from the place I am going to, or theatre/opera/ballet tickets.. in a destination city.

Ditto for the personal travel organizer,I have two, one for undies,socks,scarves,and one for make-up,toiletries,little things that can get lost in packing,they hang on a bathroom door..(right now-places like big department store toiletries depts have them and probably somewhere like Victorias Secret also..C

Thanks friends... an update. Found a "Laundry" kit... line with suction cups, woolite et al... Clean socks are an important travel necessity! I've loved the ideas so far! Just booked the air tickets! YEE HAW
