Best travel dot coms

Aside from Fodor's (obviously the best!)what other travel dot coms do you recommend?

www.eurotrip.com
It's best for budget travelling.

Eopinions.com can be pretty good. I just finished reading a detailed account of Maltese attraction, after plugging in Malta.

www.channels/nl for Amsterdam is really cool. There is one for Paris, Barcelona, Lisbon, London and Europe - although I haven't been to those. Anyway, the channels site takes you on a virtual tour of the city and provides links to hotels, restaraunts, museums, and attractions in the various neighborhoods. Really fun. For what it's worth, I strongly recommend it!

eurotrip.com is worthwhile. At eurotrip, the cheap flights forum people, (Don and Tricia, especially) helped me save at least $100.00 on my flight this month.

aboutcom travel is also very interesting, for instance, found an article on apartment weekly rentals in Venice I hadn't seen anywhere else when I was looking.

Not travel, but be sure to hit the Hunger Site and The Rainforest Site.

Correction: that is Epinions.com (not Eopinions.com)

I always check out the following for exact practical info and guides:
www.roughguides.com
www.travelocity.com
www.lonelyplanet.com
www.wtg-online.com

Oh, Anette, if I can help with any info on Malta, I am more than willing. But it's best if you email me after posting ... I'm not often on this site. This goes for anyone needing practical info on Malta & Gozo.

www.frommers.com
Particularly useful for quick/practical city descriptions

I like lonelyplanet.com and this site of course - especially the message board. One site most people have not heard of is www.footloosetravel.com. Really a nice site for not being run by a big company and or publisher.
