Best transportation

We are flying into Brussels for a few days before traveling to Copenhagen to get on our cruise ship. What is the best mode of transportation to do this? The flights seem a little pricey for the distance. What about train travel and how long? Thanks

Hi Newbie,

Please repost to include Brussels and Copenhagen in the title for better results.

The fastest trains start at about 13 hours - ranging up to 18. I would definitely look for inexpensive flights before spending that long on a train.

Hi K,

Train schedules are at www.bahn.de.

Discount airlines are at www.whichbudget.com.

Remember that for flights within Europe the free luggage allowance is only 1 suitcase p.p. with max weight of 20 kgs. (44lb.) and 1 small carry-on..
Some discount airlines allow even less.

The train is also expensive...maybe up to $200 or so so look for that cheap or not so cheap flight.
