Best Tours
 
We are planning our first trip to Italy and want to go on a tour. Looking at Perillo; Grand European; Trafalger tours, etc. Any suggestions? Would appreciate any and all feedback.

I've gone on GET tours and had a great time. I ordered a dvd and materials from Perillo ---- looks terrific, but think cost was too much for me. GET is good value for money. But if price isn't an issue..... then I'd give them a try.

Why not consider saving the money and do the planning yourself? Many would agree that the planning actually makes the total experience better.

I just did the Globus 'Italy's Great Cities' in August. You won't find one tour company that everyone loves or hates because each tour's quality depends on the tour guide you get. Our tour guide John Paul was excellent, he made reservations for people at local restaurants etc., he also would change the itinerary if everyone agreed on doing something different. My experience was that for the money Globus was a good choice.

Taylor, believe me depending on many factors if you can go it yourself do I had the help of loveitaly ,Ira,Bob the navigator, suze,and many more, and went for a month what a blast and you save a ton of money,and it was really a confidence booster in everyway.Thanks everyone I love to thank everyone it was the foderites that did it for me!
