The best tip I ever got (and used it this evening) is to print a sheet of computer labels with your name, address and phone number, for dropping off those rolls (and rolls) of film to be developed. Beats the heck out of having to fill out the tops of all those envelopes! Other top tips: Everything must match everything else; black and tan; don't take anything you won't wear at least twice; if you'll be out and about on your own, bring a small compass; and every minute of research and preparation pays off enormously once there! I would like to add that each and every tour guide is well worth the price. You can't peruse too many - each has at least one valuable tip well worth the price of the book. Bring your favorite with you.
