best time of year to visit Portugal?

We are planning a trip to Portugal (Lisbon)in the end of September or the end of October. What is recommended weather wise?

Thank You

Weather should be warm--probably just need a sweater or light jacket early in the day and then again in the evening. Try weather.com and look under the historical data for those months.

Hi Irita, I am portuguese. Usually the weather is better at the end of September but nowadays we never know what it will be like . Weather has been very unestable in the last year so we can never tell.

Irita - I lived in Lisbon for three years and the weather in the fall is always nice but we always got a lot of rain as well so be sure to pack accordingly.
