Albariño is quite nice - akin to a Pinot Gris. Very delicate and refreshing.

I think almost all the wine I had in Spain was pretty good, but I don't know the exact brand names. I always prefer dry wines, both red and white, and in the US, I often have a white Rioja wine which is always pretty decent for its price in comparison to others. In fact, white riojas are a lot cheaper than the red ones, at least among the cheaper wine brands I can easily buy where I live here (like Marques de Carceras).

The Alsatian Zind-Humbrecht Pinot Gris are anything but delicate.
They are world class knockout white wines.
Just don't plan to do anything after a couple of glasses of those.

My bet is Rias Baixas. Among them:
-Terras Gauda, an unusual one, made with three differents kinds of grape.
