I would still look out for the Region of Gstaad. Either Gstaad or Zweisimmen. Find more infos on their webpage about accommondations. There are too many possibilities.

Around Gstaad are great skiing possibilities for intermdiate skiers. Especially from Schoenried-Saanenmoeser-Zweisimmen, there are 105km of slopes with a lot of fun.
And from Gstaad or Zweisimmen you have direct trains to Montreux, Bern, Thun and Interlaken to do some non-skiing day trips without a lot of changing trains etc. Also the Maison de Chocolat in Broc is easy accessible.
