Best Shopping in Rome

Can someone recommend beautiful, high end women's clothing boutiques in Rome? I'm not looking for designer labels that we get in the US but rather beautiful labels that are unique and unknown in the US. Thank you.

I love bringing home shoes and bags from vacation (I'm too large to bother looking for fancy clothes). I love T-Nobile near the Ponte Sisto. I currently have three of their gorgeous (and reasonably priced) leather bags and plan to get more this summer. The selection is huge. Happy shopping!

Certainly make sure you cover the ground around via Condotti; there will be plenty of high end women's shops. HIGH END for sure. I don't know which of these shops carry merchandise that is exlusive to Italy; after all, we live in a very international world these days. But browsing in the top shopping streets in the Tridente, down to Campo Marzio, usually gives me all the eye candy I can handle, and none of which I can afford.

Janinenicole says she's not looking for designer labels. I think that's what you'd mostly see around Via Condotti.

I'm not a shopping expert, but this page, in Italian, has some places I've heard of and others that just sound interesting. Your browser should offer to translate it. I can't check how good the translation is, because, since my default language is Italian, it doesn't offer to translate it for me.

Walking around the Trident/Condotti area, you will find plenty of upscale shops little known in the US. And even in the famous-brand shops you will find many items not sold in the States. I would head there for upscale.

I was thinking the same as ekscrunchy. While you'll see Prada and Chanel, there should be plenty of things you won't see in the US. I've browsed baby things (not women's I know) that I've never seen elsewhere.
