Best scenic route from Bolzano to Munich by train..

We leave Saturday for 15 days and 16 nights in Northern Italy. We start in Venice and end in Bolzano, taking the train through the Brenner Pass to Munich for our flight home. I've found a couple possible routes and would like to know if either is preferable scenic wise. One goes by way of Mittenwald and Garmisch and is a Regional train making many stops(which we don't mind if it is a scenic trip), and another goes toward Salzburg after Innsbruck heading north at Kufstein to Rosenheim and on to Munich. If either had a "must-see" location we could stop for a while breaking the trip up a bit. Thank you for any experience you could share.

I don't know the other route, but Brennero, Innsbruck, Garmish is certainly an eye full.

Hopscotch,
Thanks for the input, it helps to know about at least one of the routes. Traveled from Innsbruck to Bressanone, and from Bressanone to Munich around 4 or 5 years ago and the trip was very memorable. Unfortunately I couldn't remember the route we took. Thanks again! Diane

Innsbruck -Zirl -Garmisch is the more scenic route. Kufstein - Rosenheim is in the Inntal -Valley; not nearly as scenic but Kufstein would surely be worth a stop.
