best route from Interlaken to Varenna, Italy?
Any ideas on the best way to travel from Interlaken to Varenna (Lake Como) Italy.

You have 2 options.
The obvious, by train via Milano.
The less obvious. Train to Lugano---bus to Menaggio---ferry to Varenna. Or, just stay in Menaggio--makes little difference.
