Best Room with A view - AnaCapri

Hello Fellow Fodorites. We are looking to book a single night on Capri and are leaning towards Anacapri. For those who have been, which room with a view would you recommend? We don't need a deluxe 5 star accommodation or a pool. Just a fabulous view. Your insight is much appreciated.

Grazie!

I would highly recommend the Monte Solaro B & B. While the rooms themselves do not have a view, once you walk out you are on a long veranda that has the most incredible views. I loved, loved this place and only wished we could have stayed longer. Constanza and his family were very welcoming and just lovely! Check them out, you won't be disappointed!

Thanks so much. It does look fabulous. Unfortunately it also looks as though they are sold out for the night we were considering. Must continue to seek.

The Hotel San Michele offers jaw dropping views for a good price. Ask for a room with a balcony view to be sure of obtaining a dream vista of the bay of Naples with Vesuvius looming in the distance. The sunsets are spectacular and it is such a pleasure to sit out and watch the lights come on over sorrento.

The Caesar Augustus is a crap shoot. Service is up and down. It is across from the San Michele and very expensive. The views are pretty much the same because the Michele is higher. It is a short walk into Anacapri and there is a bus stop across the road. Take the bus down to the Piazetta for a heart stopping experience! Avoid taxi's like the plague. Have a great time.

Hi. Thanks for all these recommendations. These places look awesome. Am finding some are out of our price range (we would prefer below $150 USD per night) or else they are already booked. We are now exploring B&Bs. So any recs on B&Bs with breath-taking views will be greatly appreciated.
