Best Resort Beaches in Spain
My husband and I are planning a summer trip to Spai. We want to split it: first half in Barcelona, second half in a fabulous beach resort.
We need help finding the right beach. We want a town (not city) where we won't feel the need to do alot of day trips unless we want to - a town with soem culture (not highrises lining the coast), shopping, restaurants, tapas bars, etc. We want a nice hotel with a sandy beach with beach loungers, umbrellas, and (hopefully) a beach bar/restaurant. The preferred area would cater to people in their 30s and 40s. Any suggestions would be great. |
San Sebastian has all of those things.

I would agree with San Sebastian but hiope you won't be too upset to find that some of the folks there OVER 40 might be even more lively than you are!

Can you recommend a hotel (beachfront)?
|
Hotel de Londres y de Inglaterra and Hotel Niza are both beachfront hotels.

Have you been to Spanish beaches before? Even the nicest beaches aren't comparable to US beaches.
But, I love the old towns in and around them! I have been to Marbella a few times and enjoy the old and new town. There is plently to do and may restaurants.... you may evenspot a celebrity or two. You may consider this too big though. Have fun!! Enjoy those tapas!! Yum |
