best prices on Eurostar?
 

Traveling London to Paris in September on Eurostar. Can anyone share any secrets to getting better prices than those listed on their website ($120 roundtrip).

Try the one day Round Trip fare and don't come back. 29.5 GBP each way.

I couldn't find the option to book a one-day round trip fare. I put in a depart and return for the same day on the trip planner, but it came back with $60 each why, same as before.....am I not doing it right?

I am not sure if it works anymore, but when you first sign on to eurostar.com it will ask where you are from. Click United Kingdom, not US. The prices are better for some reason.

A lot depends on which train you want.

Try putting in depart 07:00 and return 22:00.

Isn't 29.5 GBP about the same as $60?

Currently 29.5 GBP is $54.

Seriously, are people stupid? It is almost the same as $60...

1 GBP is 1.825 US$. So 29.5 GBP is 53.8 US$. If you think this is the same as $60, I am happy to collect that $6.2 from you every single day. :)
