Best places to visit in Turkey and Greece

What are some of the highlights to visit in Turkey and Greece? What are some cities I should include on the itinerary? Also, what is the best way to travel from Greece to Turkey/Turkey to Greece? Private boat? Ferry?

Thanks in advance.

Time to do some research. There are many trip reports on various countries on this forum. Do a search to find them to see what others consider highlights of the respective countries.

You fail to give us any sense of what sort of 'highlights' you'd enjoy. The best food, ruins, beaches, shopping, museums, bars and discos, what???

As for the best way to travel from Greece to Turkey/Turkey to Greece, it all depends on where you are at the time and what your next destination is. Your choices are flying and ferries. Flying directly is only possible between Athens and Istanbul no matter which country comes first, with the exception of some charter flights between Istanbul and Mykonos during High Season. Without knowing where you will be it's difficult to advise you about the ferries.

You need to do more research to get a clear understanding of what these countries have to offer then come back with questions relating to what you have discovered and what you want to experience.

Ferries between Greece and Turkey: Lesvos/Ayvalik, Chios/Cesme, Samos/Kusadasi, Kos/Bodrum and Rhodes/Marmaris, Bodrum & Fethiye.

A highlight of all our trips was hot air ballooning in Cappadocia, Turkey.
Ephesus, also in Turkey is one of the most interesting archeological sites we've seen.
Favorite city is Istanbul - great sights, fabulous food, friendly people.
So, three "must see" places!

A good guidebook or two should serve you very well -- check your local bookstore or library. And read trip reports and planning threads on this board -- you can learn a LOT from them!
