Best Place to stay in Kensington with large rooms?

I am looking for the best place to stay in Kensington with large rooms and near a tube. What do you suggest?

We have stayed at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, and had a beautiful room overlooking the gardens. It is pricey, though.

We have stayed twice at the Knightsbridge Hotel on Beaufort Gardens, a block from Harrods, and had a nice room for 125 pounds, and once, a suite for 195 pounds.

There are two other Hotels on Beaufort Gardens, which is a beautiful dead-end street, that are a little more dear. One is the Beaufort, and they, as well as the other two I have mentioned, have web sites.

There is a lovely hotel that is very centraly located in Kensington, close to the V.A. and in walking distance to Harrods. Its called the Pelham. It had large and beautifuly decorated rooms. It is a very nice hotel that is not that well known.

The largest room I've stayed in in South Ken (and that doesn't mean that it's large!) was at the Swiss House Hotel, which is about a 10 min. walk from either Gloucester Rd. or South Kensington tube stations. We paid extra for a large double, which sleeps three. Not huge, but definitely larger than the regular rooms at some of the more expensive hotels, and cheaper too. I can't remember the exact price, but if you're interested, I'll try to find it. It's quiet and well-cared for, but it's recommended in lots of guide books, so it fills up fast.
