Hi Anne Marie, I am interested in the replies also! We are going in Aug, and are staying for 3 nites in Doolin at Doyles Townhouse,,,,I read some nice things(both on this site and in guidebooks) about so many other B&B's there, that it was very difficult to choose! You just never "know" for sure! ;-) Judy

Check Mrs. Darra Hughes at Sea View House on Fisher Street in Doolin. She has a house with a lovely view of the town & surrounding water. House is modern and very comfortable.

A second for Darra Hughes Sea View House. Very comfortable, right across the road and about 100 yds from O'Connors. She is great and very friendly and helpful with local suggestions.

Make that a third for the Sea View House. Great, comfy rooms, and Darra Hughes and her husband Niall are lovely hosts.

Try www.doolincottages.com they are family run, have a variety of accomodations, clean and well located in Doolin.
