Hi I will be visiting Bruge soon and was looking for recommendations for decent quality, not too pricey accomodation close to Bruge, upto a 10 minute walk to the centre would be okay, ideally with car parking near by. I dont mind hotels, b & b or other. Any recommendations please?
Also anyone have recommendations for very good restaurants in or close to Bruge to please.

Several years ago, we stayed at the Hotel de Barge (https://www.hoteldebarge.be/en/) which was great. It's a hotel on a boat in the canal. It's just outside of the old town center - about a 10-15 minute walk to the center - nice walk over a pedestrian bridge and through a park. The only real downside to the location is that there is a lot across the street where tour buses park during the day, but when we were there, they were mostly gone by late afternoon, so it wasn't a big deal. Looks like they have limited parking by the hotel, but there is more parking in the parking garage at the train station, which isn't far - maybe 5 minute walk.

In 2015 we stayed at the NH Hotel Brugge. Lovely old building that was once a convent. We arrived by car and there was parking nearby. Only minutes to the center on foot and surrounded by a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Loved the hotel and location. https://tinyurl.com/sny9zyww

We had a very comfortable room at the Novotel. Easy walking distance to the centre of town. Ibis have a hotel on the same street if you are looking for a cheaper hotel.
