best place to see Highland coos out of Inverness

Good evening: I have a quick business trip to Inverness this summer. I would love to see a Highland coo while there. I won't have a car, but there seem to be plenty of day tours from the city. Which area in that vicinity would I have the best luck in glimpsing one? Any around Loch Ness or Culloden? Thanks, Gellen

You don't have to look for them -- they are just there. They are cattle - not wild animals. If you are taking a coach tour the guide is bound to point any out as you pass.

You can do a Hairy Coo safari on the Rothiemurchus estate.

Apaprently you can also see them in the field adjacent to the large car park at the Culloden Visitor Centre.
