Another question---If I call my daughter in Europe who will have either the Mobal.com or the callineurope.com phone with the multi country SIM card--who actually pays for the call? Me, since I called, or her, since she answered? If me, is it at an international rate? What if she calls a US cellphone from overseas, is it a higher $/minute than calling a landline? Also,can you set up voicemail on these phones?

Poconolady - The answer to all your questions is "it depends" - on where in Europe she will be and the provider and plan she chooses. If her phone has a European number, you will pay international rates when you call her phone. Whether or not your daughter pays for incoming calls depends on the provider and specific plan she is using - for example, CIE's France Pass has free incoming and .39/min outgoing to France and the US when dialed from France; within Europe but outside France incoming is .29/min, to Europe is .69 and to the US is .99/min. Mobal charges much higher rates and for all incoming calls.
