"Some stay at the newly refurbished Plaza Athénée for Alain Ducasse's starry restaurant (guests have priority), others because it's convenient to the couture meccas of the Golden Triangle, but its real allure is the cosseting by 460 experienced staff. 187 rooms and suites. 25 Avenue Montaigne, 8e (01-53-67-66-65; fax: 01-53-67-66-66). Doubles from $550."

Source: http://www.nytimes.com/library/magaz...tra-paris.html

Best wishes,

Rex
