Best marinas in the Canaries and southern Europe

Looking for advice on the best marinas to visit in the Canaries and southern Europe. I'm looking for picturesque marinas with plenty of bars and restaurants. Any advice would be appreciated.

Suggest you look for a more specialized source of information. Not many boat people on this site.

I'm not a boat owner... I just like marinas for the atmosphere and the seafood restaurants.

Everyone has their own tastes, of course, but as a former boat owner I always tried to flee marinas as quickly as possible after tying up the boat. IME the food and service in the restaurants is slapdash and overpriced, while the crowd is mostly loud and drunken yachties.

The Canaries are not known for seafood or marinas I'm afraid. Some are too steep to have much in the way of harbours and others too flat. Besides you need an ocean going vessel since they are well out in the Atlantic.
That said you may like Puerto Tazacorte though the marina is not very picturesque the bay is nice, and there are restaurants and cafés along the beach of black sand.
I really think you are better off looking at the Med for marinas.

And if I wanted good seafood I'd look for a fishing village, not a marina.

Of course, if you want seriously posh yachts you should be looking at the French Riviera (Monaco) and the Dalmatian Coast (Hvar). Take lots of money.
