Best Location with reasonable hotel rates

Will be in Paris 10/10 for a couple of days. Have not selected a hotel yet. Need recommendation of a good hotel which is clean, good location, decent size rooms etc. Also what would be the best way to reserve the rooms by priceline or call book on websites.

Hi,

My favorite is the Hotel Bonaparte, 61 rue Bonaparte in the 6th. About 120E dbl w/bkfst.

That is a very busy time in Paris, so you should start trying to get a reservation soon, unless you don't care about the hotel. I think it is best to reserve directly with a hotel, I always do. However, there are some good hotel booking sites that do a fine job.

YOu can't reserve a particular hotel with Priceline, you have to take what they give you.

Clean, decent location, good sized rooms would describe about a thousand Paris hotels. Do you have any other parameters, like what part of the city you want to be in? Do you want charm or modern or American-type amenities? And what's your budget? I wouldn't use Priceline for Paris. I'd do some research, get suggestions here, and call or fax for a reservation.

Paris has SO many hotels in SO many neighborhoods with SO many different flavors, a little more guidance on what you're looking for might help. There are lots of quarters with moderate-priced hotels, so if there's a particular attraction you want to be near or a particular "feel" to the neighborhood you want, that info could help posters respond better.
The Latin Quarter, for example, is one of the most desirable places to stay in Paris, yet is loaded with moderate-priced hotels.

Dear Joadan...

If someone ask me for a good hotel in Paris...I would say the Hotel Saint Dominique because of its perfect location and because of its lovely staff!!Their prices are totally reasonable, it is a 2 star hotel...You can discover it on the website : www.saintdominique.com!!!Really I love this hotel!!!
