Best hotels in Cefalu
My husband and I are planning a trip which ends up in Sicily. I thought Cefalu would be a good base, but I’m struggling to choose a hotel. We are not fussed about swimming pool or beach - just somewhere that is good quality and near the centre and restaurants would be great. Many thanks in advance…

Hi Elizabeth,
We had a lovely stay at the Scirocco BnB. The owner is wonderful, the rooms clean and modern and the terrace where the amazing breakfast is served has magnificent views. Cefalu is beautiful and there are tons of great restaurants, unfortunately I will have to go back through my journal for any names. So sorry. We really enjoyed our time in Sicily and hope you do too! |

Do stay in Cefalu but it is not ideal as a base for the whole island. You will need another base such as Ortigia.

Yea! I hope you love it as much as we did!!
We spent a month traveling around Sicily right before the pandemic so if you have any questions or need any tips I would be more than happy to help!! I wish we had been able to spend more than a month, Sicily is magnificent, the people are kind and beautiful, the food and wine is fabulous. I can't wait to return! Have fun and keep us posted! |
Not only is breakfast on the terrace awesome, one night before heading out to dinner we grabbed some cheese, cured meats, prosecco and good bread and watched an amazing sunset from there. It really was spectacular. Have fun, I'm soooo jealous :)
