best hotel in sweden
 

Can anyone offer their input as to the best hotel in Stockholm if $$ is not an object. also in Copenhagen?? My parents are going on a cruise there and would like to spend a couple of days before and after. Thanks in advance for any input.

I don't know if this is the best hotel in Stockholm, but we absolutely loved the Gamla Stan Hotel. Comfortable rooms, close to everything, fabulous breakfast buffet. It was about $250 per night.

Thanks teacherlady!! By any chance is it close to the airport. I just found out that they have a very early morning flight out.

Stockholm airport is in Arlanda, quite far away from town. The only convenient hotel there is Radisson Sky City.
No. 1 in Copenhagen and with a pleasant old-days atmosphere is Hotel D Angleterre.
