BEST Hotel area in PORTO ?
 

Any advice which is the best hotel area to stay in for a first time visitor to Porto?

We stayed at the intercontinental right on the main square...great location...walking distance to Ribeira Lots of restaurants...close to tour buses and a lovely location as well

We enjoyed our stay at the Infante de Sagres. The front desk was incredibly helpful and ot has a good location.

You might want to take a look at the 43-room Hotel Aliados, Avenida dos Aliados, 20 (www.hotelaliados.com).

Check out the new pousada..They may have some special offers..A pousada is an outstanding place to stay..
