well speaking of the Athens Gate, the other side of the hotel offers a great view over the Olympieion, the Adrians gate, Zappeion ,the National garden and Lycabettus Hill which is very nice as well!!!!

Thank you all for your replies. Clausar, I did realize that 10-12 euros was not going to cut it, that was naive of me! The person who did our ferry bookings at Pacific Travel told me their city office was closed on Sundays, will recheck.
The restaurant at Athens Gate sounds nice, that's the one I was leaning towsrds anyway. Any idea of how much we should be prepared to spend for a light lunch?
