Best Flight Deals to Paris?
My husband and I are looking into a trip to Paris. We'd really appreciate help in getting the best air fare possible from Washington, DC. We are willing to fly out of any of the area airports (or even look at Newark or JFK). We'd prefer a non-stop, but one stop would work if it's more economical. I'm great at ferreting out super hotel deals, but can't ever seem to get the best deal on air fares. Do consolidators work or should I book direct? Thanks for any and all advice!

w/o knowing your dates it is pretty difficult to give you the best advice . . . .

I have to agree with janisi there re: dates, however have you tried Zoom airlines-they have great deals to Paris.

For your specific route (D.C.-CDG), the cheapest flights average about $600 between Nov-April. If you find anything lower than that, buy it. Tickets prices have gone up in the last three years and they are staying up there. I'd been to Paris in Feb, April, May, June, July and Nov, and I would definitely recommend Nov and April the best.

Thank you so much! Yes, we were looking at late October/early November or late April, or second half of May. I've tried all these periods and am coming up with $1200+ per person for nonstops and some higher than that for one and two stops. Of course the late Oct/early Nov. aren't even posted yet. MaxJet out of JFK only charges about $1600 for business class round trip, so we are considering that as well. I'll keep trying. Thanks for the feedback and advice!
