Best Coq Au Vin in Paris?

We're heading to Paris next month and are looking for the best Coq Au Vin in the city. My husband cooked it for me on our 2nd date and we need to compare Any thoughts?

cosmicneil - I have never thought of having Coq Au Vin in Paris!
In South Africa we would never get the 'authentic' version as one cannot find a 'Coq' with spurs, unless you live on a small (or large) farm where the animals are part of the scene!
I am a 'Boeuf Bourguinon' fan!
Please let us know if you ever get a comparison with your husbands version?
PS: There is a Bistro that cooks food like a very good French Maman.
Maybe they have it there - I am going to check it out in May. It's called Bistro du Peintre, 116 Ave Ledru Rollin. (Cnr. rue de Charonne).
I had the best Tart Tatine ever!

Go to Allard. And have the assorted cheeses after dinner...some are so stinky, it will be a challenge with your dinner companions! One of my favorite memories of Paris...

Oh, StCirq. What was I thinking? Le Florimond was such a great experience. I guess I didn't notice Coq au Vin which is why I didn't mention it. We had the best meal there last October. The food was great and the people working there were so nice.

Thanks everyone. I'm new to the forums and got a bit confused with the redesign so just saw these responses now. Appreciate the tips and we'll let you know where we tried when we're back!
