Best/Closest airport to Vlodrop, Netherlands?
Hello,<BR>I wish to go to Vlodrop, and have heard that one doesn't fly directly there, but instead should fly to a nearby airport. And then take a train or something? Is it easy to get ground transportation to Vlodrop? And what should one expect to pay?<BR>Thanks,<BR>Aron

vlodrop is a very small village about 10 km SE from Roermond, in Limburg province, Netherlands. It is actually right at the German border. Closest airport is Maastricht/Aachen (also known as Beek) airport, which has flights from Amsterdam, London and some other cities. Alternatively, you could also fly to Amsterdam Schiphol, and take the train to Roermond (with one change in Duivendrecht, train takes 2 hours 8 minutes, costs 19.70 euro 2nd class, 30.50 euro 1st class). From Roermond, there are buses to Vlodrop.
