Best Christmas Market to visit
Just wondering if anyone could recommend a Christmas Market I can visit beginning December 20 to December 23 or 24?

I've always wanted to visit Europe at Christmas time, but yet need to be back in the states on December 24 for a family celebration. I work in a school and that is the only time I have.

Also, are there any Markets still open to visit after Christmas, say, December 28 to January 4?

you could try the wonderful city of Edinburgh Scotland.(I live there)
there is a Small German Christmas market, not going to say it is the best in the world or even Europe or for that matter Britain, but it is interesting enough and there are also lots of other things going on as well, just have a look at the above website.
Edinburgh is also a great historic city with lots of things to see and do.
this website will give an idea of whats on offer.

The Christmas market in Strasbourg, France, runs from 29 November to 31 December.

Strasbourg can be easily reached by TGV from Paris.

The train is the best option. Very quick and more comfortable than bus.
