Best Cappuccino in London?

Where is it. How do I get there. What is the cost?

Cafe Nero is widely believed to be the best amongst the chains. I've not yet visited one because they were so crowded anytime I tried. I like Cafe Costa amongst the ones I have tried. Starbucks, Coffee Republic and Aroma should only be tried in a caffeine fix emergency. The Wetherspoon pubs sell servicable cappuccinos & lattes for a quid, about half the price of the others.

Out of the chains I prefer Costa Coffee, they seem fairly consistant and I like the wide cups they serve them in. I find Coffee Republic OK sometimes but don't particularly like Starbucks, especially when it those horrible mugs, blah! I haven't tried Cafe Nero but have also heard they have a good reputation.<BR>Pret a Manger's coffee has improved but is still a little strong for my tastes. However, at &pound;1.25 for a cappuccino they are considerably cheaper than the other chains mentioned. A cappuccino at Coffee Republic is about &pound;1.70-&pound;2.00 depending on the size and a little more at Costa and the others I believe.<BR><BR>http://www.costa.co.uk/noflash.html<BR>http://www.pret.com/flash.html<BR>

Cafe Nero?? Is there a website. Where are they in the city? We will be staying in Chiswick Park, but will be all over. Thanks so much. Nothing beats a good cappuccino.

Go for Costa. It has the best coffee and it is the most ethical because it uses Fairtrade coffee.<BR><BR>See http://www.fairtrade.org.uk/why.htm

Eric, Caffe Nero (note correct spelling) have over 100 outlets in the UK, so one shouldn't be too hard to find. They are in the process of buying Aroma from McDonald's, which will add 20 more.
