Well, it is kind of funny that in her second post, KathyNZ was quick to say "I doubt Breakfast in America is as good", even though she clearly has never been there. Still, she's downright angry that people doubted HER place was as good as she says. In other words, only her word and opinion can be trusted -- no one else's?

I'm not going to defend the usual policy here of people being argumentative about everything, but let's face it. Whenever you post "BEST" in a title, you can guarantee there will be plenty of people to take issue with that. And still, while I understand the discussion about the place mentioned, I really don't understand why people felt the need to take issue with a tourist having the TYPE of breakfast he wants or needs, because your own desires are different? What in the world does that have to do with the post itself?

Thanks Patrick, I was in the States, that's United, for three weeks in 2007 and five weeks this year, travelling on the west and the east coasts, and again in Europe the last few months.
But just to throw one big spanner in the works, did you all know that New Zealand and Australia have the best cuisine in the world? That should get you all going again, I'll read your comments with interest. And the coffee is second to none.
