We enjoyed the decor at Au Lyonnais, but didn't care much for the food - which did not live up to our server's descriptions or recommendations.

To our astonishment, we were actually asked if we could finish up quickly and/or have our coffee and dessert in the upstairs cocktail lounge so they could seat another party! Unheard of in Paris! I don't know if they were overbooked or someone "important" arrived impromptu, but we agreed to be moved upstairs, where we were ignored and it took forever to be served coffee and an after dinner drink.

We really enjoyed Chez Jean and La Ferrandaise.

We've had good and not so good experiences at Le P'tit Troquet. Everything turns on the offerings of the day. I think the couple that owns this place is tired and wants to retire.
