best bet for March

Hi everyone. My husband and I had to cancel our Sept 2008 trip to Italy because of the death of my father. We need to re-use our tickets by March 31st. I know we won't be able to do this until December at the earliest so my question is what is a good bet for a late March trip?

What do you mean by "what is a good bet"? Are you asking where you should go? You were planning on going to Italy, right? Go to Italy!

Late March---see Sicily. Best climate that time of year.

Andalucia -- perfect weather then, not too hot

Go to Italy! The last time I was there was during March, and the weather was spectacular, both on the coast and inland. The days were crisp and sparklingly sunny. Also, there were no huge crowds, even in Venice.

Lisbon in March was great.

I'm confused. What does December have to do with a March trip. Is December the time that you have to book?
