best beaches on the costa del sol
 

What are the sandy beaches on Marbella or torremolinos? Or on the costa del sol in general? Anyone stay at Marriot Playa Andalucia?

Perfectly fine beaches along the Costa del Sol, but the best beaches in Andalucía would be in the Cádiz region: http://www.andalucia.com/beaches/

Look at Tossa de Mar

If I remember accurately, the Marriott is one of those holiday club places, where they try and sell you a timeshare whilst you stay there. Providing you can resist them, it's a nice place to stay.

bob, last time I looked, Tossa wasn't on the Costa del Sol! But what's 700 odd miles?

A little closer than Tossa are the coves in around Nerja. While we spend most of our time in & around Granada, we do like to get away to the Parador in Nerja and walk over to Carabeo Beach for day and Burriana for night
