The boat trip itself is very nice--you get to see many buildings all lit up--but the dinner isn't worth the price. Take one of the boat cruises and spend your money on a nice dinner at a restaurant.

Here is the website to the company we used this past June. They have a coupon you can print out. I took one at 9:30 to see the sun set so got a bit of both day and night. Then did it again at 7pm and found it too warm still (summer).
I'd dress warmly to be comfortable sitting on top in the open. It was so lovely!

Hi lauriew1234 - Consider taking a Fat Tire Bike Tour. It takes about 4 hours and includes a stop at Bertillion for ice-cream (cost of ice cream not included in tour). We ended up on a boat tour and had free wine while seeing the sights including the Eiffel Towers sparkling lights. We thought it was a great combination package and included the cost of the boat tour. There was a wide age group on the tour, the bikes were good, and it was not too strenuous. My 17 year old son and I had so much fun that we went on a bike tour at every place we stopped thereafter. We took sandwiches with us and ate at one of the rest stops we had.
