Best Airlines to Fly to Europe

Hi - The several times I have flown to Paris (from Boston)
I flew on TWA. In light of the recent bombing it is
probably not going to be your choice, but I have had only
good experiences on TWA and they generally have extra
leg room, which is nice on an overseas flight. In addition
there is an agency - Global Discount Travelers that sells
TWA tickets at 25% off face value - no joke - I just bought
a ticket to Barcelona and saved 300 dollars. Anyway,
I would go with TWA if it is convienent to where you are living.

We just returned from a wonderful trip to France, and I have flown to Europe on a number of different airlines. I am happy to recommend Air France. The food is definitely a cut above and the service is friendlier than most. The only negative (or positive, depending on your point of view) comment is that they do section off a part of the plane for smokers.

I also flew with Air France and found their service
and food good. Our non-smoking section on a 747 was
in economy but we were upstairs in an area of only 36
seats with our own steward. It felt like first class.
They (Air France) has a discount subsidery called
Jet Vacations. We got our tickets at a discount and
were also able to book hotels, rail and city transportation passes, transfers from the
airport and museum passes, which are also good at places
like Notre Dame, Arch de Triomph, etc.
Have a great trip but keep on guard, Paris is like any
other big city with crime like pickpockets, esp. on
the Metro, and it's being done by young kids, I know this
from first hand experience but fortunately my fiancee
saw what was happening and made a commotion and they scattered!

AIR FRANCE is absolutely the best way to get
to Paris-the food, wines and champagnes served
are definitely a cut above and stewards are so
accomadating (from helping me brush up on my
french to letting us sleep on the floors coming
home). I envy you going to one of my favorite
cities in the world do watch for pickpockets
but we never had any trouble-we never looked
like we had money!!!

I dont recommend Air France. Its more roundabout
but i suggest KLM or British Air. They treat you like a real person and not some peasant.
Luftthansa has a good flight.

Lufthana And KLM (Royal Dutch) to Europe provide the best price to value ratio.

Excellent service with a 'smile'

I've flow from Toronto to Amsterdam and then onwards to Zurich several times with each carrier and was impressed with their service.
