best airline prices...what webist do you use?

i am in the midst of planning my trip and want to make sure that i am getting the best price for my tickets. where have you found the cheapest tickets to europe?

i have used the usuals: expedia, orbitz, priceline, travocity, kayak, farecompare... what have you used that you were happy with?

I also look at cheaptickets.com and sidestep.com

I am sure I am in the minority but I never use those websites; I always book directly with the airline, although I check fares on Orbitz, etc, first to get an idea of the schedules. I also prefer to book direct flights from the US to Europe and find that the cheapest fares often require a change within Europe. Just my own personal choice.

As above, I prefer to purchase direct from the airlines. For whatever reason I just don't trust those website you mention. I do use Expedia to research what's available beforehand, then go on the airline's own website to buy.

Recently I have used Farecompare and the "buzz" feature on Kayak that tells you what others have been paying for my proposed route.
